Sam had happily shared
many years with his owner, Mrs. Jamieson. But when Mrs. Jamieson had
to move to a seniors' home, Sam couldn't come.
This story is based on a true event. Sam digs his way out of his new
owner's back yard and, all by himself, finds his way across town to his
beloved Mrs. Jamieson in her new home.
But rules are rules; dogs are not allowed to live there - until Sam works
his way into the hearts of all the seniors. In reality Sam was a dog
named Samantha. To this day, Samantha still lives in the seniors'
home in Armstrong, B.C.
